The importance of water for sustainable development and the reduction of poverty has repeatedly been unanimously recognized by the International Community since the end of the 20th century. This is why the development of coordinated actions and strategies for better management and valorization of water resources is increasingly becoming a requirement and a vital necessity for all of humanity, and in particular, for developing countries. Without progress in the field of water, it would be difficult, if not impossible, for these countries to achieve the goals of socio-economic development in various aspects.
