This Code establishes the fundamental rules intended to enable the management of the environment and the protection of the environment against all forms of degradation, in order to safeguard and enhance the rational exploitation of natural resources, to combat the various forms of pollution and nuisances and to thus improve the living conditions of the human person, while respecting the balance of ecosystems.
