This is a ministerial decision concerning the framework of environmental impact assessment procedures in Burundi. Indeed, scoping is an open and interactive process that serves to limit the scope of the environmental impact study and to provide guidelines on how to conduct a study and to facilitate the assessment of the quality of the study.
