The sub-regional training on Mycology is organized in partnership between the National Institute for Environment and Nature Conservation (INECN), the National Botanical Garden of Belgium, the University of Kigali in Rwanda, the University of Bukavu in Rwanda, the University of Bukavu in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the Royal Institute of Natural Sciences of Belgium. It aims to strengthen the capacities of young researchers in the sub-region in the field of Mycology, which remains very poorly known despite the importance of fungi. It includes the Systematics, Ecology and Ethology of Fungi.
