This report of the Burundi National Agricultural Survey (ENAB) 2015-2016 campaign is the sixth edition of a two-stage sample survey that covers all provinces in the country (except Bujumbura town hall). At the first level, 170 enumeration areas (ZD) were drawn at equal probabilities at the rate of 10 ZD per province.

At the level of each enumeration area, sixteen households were selected with equal probabilities. The total sample size is 2720 households. The survey covers the 2016-2017 crop year, which is composed of three seasons (A, B and C). Season A runs from September 16, 2016 to February 15, 2017; season B covers the period from February 16 to June 15, 2017 and season C runs from June 16 to September 15, 2017. Each production was reported in the survey (season A, B and/or C) according to its field collection schedule. The results contained in this report cover the whole of the 2016-2017 agricultural season. This survey follows other editions of ENAB carried out during the three previous campaigns 2013-2014, 2014-2015 and 2015-2016.
