DAD-IS is the information system on the diversity of domestic animals maintained and developed by FAO. It gives you access to searchable databases with information and photos related to the breed, as well as links to other online resources on livestock diversity. In addition, you can find the contact details of all the national coordinators for the management of animal genetic resources. It allows you to analyze the diversity of livestock breeds nationally, regionally, and globally, including the state of the breeds in terms of their risk of extinction.
