Regional Institute for Training in Environment and Sustainable Development (IRFEDD) has the following objectives:

• the implementation of qualifying and professional training activities as well as social and professional integration activities:

• for the benefit of young people and workers without jobs or not;
• as part of apprenticeships, work-study programs or even continuing education;
• either directly or by agreement with other competent training operators;
• the incubation of new training courses in connection with the development of technological, educational and sociological innovation;
• the organization of documentary and strategic monitoring, in particular for professionals and trainers, the training of trainers;
• the objectification of educational and vocational guidance work in order to better shed light on the social demand for training, in collaboration with specialized actors;
• the regulation of the regional training offer in this set of activities, in conjunction with the competent institutions and in particular the Regional Council, National Education and the social partners;
• the dissemination of knowledge to a wide audience (continuing education) in the form of symposiums and conferences, popular universities or other actions to support the modification of behaviors or practices for the benefit of citizens, professionals and other institutional or socio-economic actors.
