The implementation of the Biosafety Clearing House project, BCH III, was initiated since March 2018 by the Burundian Office for Environmental Protection (OBPE) and ended in December of the same year. In this project, three workshops were organized, including 2 led by the Regional Councillors (Mohamed and Honoré) and the last by the National Focal Point of BCH. After these workshops, the National Focal Point immediately produced the report and sent it to UN Environment.
