On 23/10/2018, the Burundian Office for Environmental Protection (OBPE) organized, through its research program, information exchange, awareness-raising and biodiversity conservation, the second meeting of PFIs. This meeting is a privileged moment for posting sectoral information on biodiversity.

The activities of this meeting began with a word of circumstance from the program manager Mr. Masabo Onesphore. During this brief speech, he informed the PFIs present that the purpose of the meeting was none other than to post information on the CHM-Burundian website. He then invited the participants to introduce themselves as there was a new Focal Point, Mr. NSHIMIRIMANA Déogratias, appointed by the Directorate-General for Agriculture to replace Mr. Eliakim HAKIZIMANA. He ended his remarks by encouraging PFIs to post more information on the CHM-Burundi website.

After this circumstance, the PFIs then proceeded to post the information. During this meeting, a significant amount of information was posted. The meeting was closed by the program manager who thanked the PFIs for devoting this time to posting the information and reiterated them to continue posting information that they could not post due to the low speed of the Internet connection.
