Belgian Technical Cooperation (CTB) has financed quite a few ISABU activities through the Institutional Support Project (PAI).

ISABU has received financial support from Belgian Technical Cooperation since 2007 through the Institutional Support Project (PAI). This financial assistance has enabled ISABU to carry out a number of projects, namely:

1. The development of the Agricultural Research Master Plan
2. Construction and/or rehabilitation of research and administrative infrastructures
3. The revitalization of activities in regional research
stations 4. The supply of technical and scientific equipment
5. Staff capacity building

The PAI project was established with a term of five years and it has been completed since September 2012 to make way for the ongoing PAIOSA project.
