A drawstring crocodile covers freedom

During a walk at the Rusizi River on July 28, 2018, a member of the Burundian Association for the Protection of Nature (ABN) and his guest spot a crocodile in the water. Birds circle all around the immobile animal.
Curious about this, our two walkers started taking photos and discussing the condition of the animal that seemed to have a problem. After analyzing the photos taken, they realized that the crocodile had a rope around its neck.

An alert is sent to the head of the Rusizi National Park, who in turn alerts his superiors. A response team was sent to save the trapped animal.
