This guide, developed as part of the research, awareness-raising and information program for the conservation of biodiversity implemented by the Burundian Office for Environmental Protection under the funding of the Royal Institute of Natural Sciences of Belgium, has been translated into the national language (Kirundi) to make it more understandable and usable by all stakeholders. This guide concerns both afforestations and protected areas in Burundi.
