This vegetation is an extension of the PNK, but in Monge, it is particularly fragmented and anthropized.

The dominant species are Entandrophragma excelsum, Parinari excelsa, Hagenia abyssinica. This reserve is threatened with disappearance as a result of anthropogenic actions such as cultural clearings and tree cutting. The wealth of fauna in this reserve is rare and less well known. However, Occasionally, Cercopithecus (Cercopithecus mitis) Canis adustus Papio anubis are encountered there .
