After 5 years of implementation of the project, some of its achievements on the ground remained without follow-up by other relay partners, which is why the risk of no longer finding traces of these achievements is potential, especially since the institution in charge of Protected Areas in Burundi does not have sufficient resources to appropriate and monitor them. It is with this in mind that a working meeting with the identified potential relay partners is organized in order to have the same vision on the role they will have to play after the project. In the absence of a guided field visit to see the achievements, the meeting will be followed by the presentation of the heads of groups/associations that have received support from the project so that they are known to the partners in place.
