From the start of the “Biodiversity” project, park conservation support committees were set up differently around the Kibira and Ruvubu national parks. To harmonize the establishment of these committees, a draft ordinance was prepared and proposed to the authorized bodies for adoption. Once adopted, it will be considered as implementing the law on protected areas in Burundi.
