As part of the implementation of the project “Improving the effectiveness of the management system of protected areas for the conservation of biodiversity in Burundi through the engagement of stakeholders”, a working meeting was organized in Kayanza for the managers of the Kibira National Park, the presidents and their deputies of the support committees at the level of municipalities bordering the park. Moreover, participants were reminded of the participatory approach involving communities in park management alongside daily managers, namely the Park Manager and sector managers.
