As part of the realization of the missions assigned to it, the Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies of Burundi continues to produce publications. It is within this framework that the production of this 2013 yearbook of agricultural statistics takes place.

This yearbook presents the agro-ecological characteristics of the country, food and industrial productions, the producer prices of certain agricultural products, the branches associated with agriculture as well as the agricultural production index.

To enable users to better study the evolution of agricultural
production, a 10-year data series, where possible, was taken into consideration.
