This document sets out the Office's Strategic Environmental and Social Management Framework. It is designed to serve as a guide to provide OBPE projects and programs with the tools to properly design their environmental and social management frameworks and to properly develop their Environmental and Social Impact Management Plan (PGIES). Through a series of clearly defined procedures and processes, it provides the tools necessary for the implementation of projects and programmes in a sustainable development perspective.
