The integrated vulnerability assessment focuses on the water and soil resources that are at the center of attention of the ACCES project. However, in cooperation with the global program “Adaptation to Climate Change for the Health Sector”, the analysis at the national level also includes the spread of malaria.

This final report of the vulnerability analysis project for Burundi presents the results of the project, which covered 11 months, from November 2013 to September 2014. At the beginning, we will present the forecasts for the effects of climate change in Burundi and the general methodology applied in the analysis. In the next chapter, we will provide the results of analysis at the national level with more specific methodological explanations.
