On February 11, 2021, in the room of the MUREMERA orphanage in the commune of KIGAMBA and CANKUZO province, was held, in the room of the MUREMERA orphanage in KIGAMBA and CANKUZO province, an awareness-raising session for the populations living near the Ruvubu National Park on the importance of sustainable use and the conservation of its biodiversity. This session was organized as part of the program of research, information exchange, awareness-raising and conservation of biodiversity resulting from the partnership between the Burundian Office for the Protection of Biodiversity (OBPE) and the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences (IRNSB).
