From April 27 to May 5, 2020, a survey of habitat dynamics was organized for the second in the national parks of Kibira, Rusizi and Ruvubu. The descent made it possible to:

• Observe biodiversity and possible changes in habitats on the sites of pre-established ecological trails in the Kibira, Rusizi and Ruvubu National Parks;
• Take photos that will help build a database on the evolution of ecosystem states over the years;
• Establish herbariums of species newly developed on sites or unidentified for their conservation in the herbarium and for their subsequent determination;
• Identify potential threats to these protected areas.
