As part of the Biological Diversity Information Exchange Center, the OBPE, through the Program of Research, Information Exchange, Awareness and Conservation of Biodiversity in Burundi” under the funding of the IRSNB, has the mission of strengthening the Herbarium in accordance with International standards.

The activities were organized in the Herbarium, among others:

• The labelling and coding of herbarium beds in the OBPE Herbarium;
• Arrange the samples according to the families in alphabetical order;
• Verify the records of plant species.

This report presents the results of the activity of classifying samples according to the families of herbaria in the OBPE Herbarium for the month of April 2020.
