The Plant for the production of organo-mineral fertilizers FOMI (Organo-mineral fertilizers Industries) has received three international certificates including ISO, issued by the international organization for standardization.

These certificates prove that this organization recognizes FOMI products as meeting international standards. These ISO certificates of international standardization were delivered after the work of 2 days by an international expert. These certificates will allow the factory to export these products to the international market as well as the production from the crop fields on which these organo-mineral fertilizers from FOMI have been applied.

The ceremonies to award these certificates took place on Friday, July 16, 2021 in the premises of the FOMI factory after the visit to this factory by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Samia Suluhu Hassan, in the company of the Vice President of the Republic of Burundi.
