This report was produced by a student from the University of Burundi in a master's degree in Sciences and Integrated Environmental Management as part of a professional internship for any finalist student in this training cycle. During his internship at the Burundian Office for Environmental Protection (OBPE), the student focused on information related to bamboo cuts in Kibira National Park (number and circumference of cut bamboo) as well as information related to the inventory of the main plant species found in each bamboo grove.
