As part of the CHM-OBPE project, the OBPE, through the program of research, information exchange, information exchange, awareness-raising and conservation of biodiversity in Burundi, under the funding of the Royal Institute of Natural Sciences of Belgium (IRSNB), has the mission of conducting research on pollinating insects in natural and anthropogenic ecosystems in Burundi.

Thus, a field survey was carried out in the Rusizi and Kibira National Parks in order to supervise the data collection activities on pollinators in Burundi's ecosystems carried out by two Master's student researchers at the Faculty of Science of the University of Burundi. This activity was carried out from 20 to 23 April 2022.
