On October 12 to 20, 2022, annual workshops in Belgium's partner countries on: Measurement, Reporting and Verification (MRV), awareness-raising, communication and the Information Center (CHM) in the field of biodiversity, were organized by the Burundian Office for Environmental Protection (OBPE) in partnership with the Royal Institute of Natural Sciences of Belgium (IRSNB).

Present were the Representative of the Minister of the Environment, Agriculture and Livestock, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium, the Coordinator of the IRSNB CeBios Program and the various officials of this institution, the Head of the Belgian CHM, the DG, the Directors and Executives of the OBPE, the DG, the Directors and the Executives of the OBPE as well as the participants from various countries including Niger, Benin, Senegal, Rwanda, Uganda, Uganda, Tanzania, the Guinea Conakry, Guinea Bissau, Morocco, Morocco, Burkina Faso, Togo, etc.
