On November 8 to 18, 2021, a survey was organized to monitor the dynamics of habitats in the national parks of Kibira, Rusizi and Ruvubu in Burundi. The objective of the descent was to: Continue to identify possible changes in habitats on the quadrants of the ecological trails pre-established in these Parks; Collect samples and build herbariums for their conservation in the herbarium and for their subsequent determination; Identify the potential threats of these protected areas; Establish a database on the evolution of ecosystem states over the years
