Some people whose children search the Buterere dump for items to sell and something to eat. Because of poverty, they are no longer afraid of catching diseases related to dirt. The trucks that collect waste in various districts of the city of Bujumbura arrive one by one. The workers can't wait to unload them. Unfortunately, they don't have any protection kits despite working in dirt that gives off foul odors. On the other hand, a hundred people (men, women and children) are rummaging through the trash in the hope of finding something to eat or sell.
