On January 30, 2024, within the premises of the La Détente Bar-Restaurant, a national workshop was held to launch the project “Support for the anticipated actions of the Kunming Montreal post-2020 global biodiversity framework. The objective of this workshop was to inform all biodiversity stakeholders about the content of the project and to invite them to participate in its implementation. The workshop saw the participation of stakeholders from different sectoral institutions and the private sector including the Ministry of Environment, Agriculture and Livestock, University of Burundi and ENS, REGIDESO, IGEBU, ISABU, the coordinators of climate change projects, coordinators of projects on climate change,, representatives of indigenous peoples, representatives of indigenous peoples, representatives of indigenous peoples, traditional practitioners, representatives of women's associations and associations fighting for the conservation of biodiversity
