The overall objective of this project was to contribute to the promotion of healthy and sustainable practices in agricultural production; with the specific objectives of strengthening the capacities of the APRN/BEPB local community management center in Mutumba and to initiate agroecological practices (practices that preserve the natural resources on which agricultural activity is based while reducing inputs and impacts on the environment) in 24 cooperatives of small farmers supervised by the APRN/ Center BEPB in Mutumba.

The project actively involved women rights holders as promoters of their own development around productive activities that respect natural resources and the environment, by seeking a model of co-responsibility. Learning by doing trainings were organized for the benefit of members of the 24 cooperatives and the members of the 24 cooperatives transfer the knowledge acquired in cascade within the communities.
