On April 16 to 18, 2024, a team led by the Director of Forests at the Burundian Office for Environmental Protection (OBPE) provisionally received the PAPN surveillance and tourist reception post, which was built as part of the implementation of the “Project to Support the Improvement of PAPN Management Effectiveness and Community Development Initiatives (PAAPID)” of the OBPE financed as part of the implementation of the “Project to Support the Improvement of PAPN Management Effectiveness and Community Development Initiatives (PAAPID)” by IUCN thanks to the BIOPAMA Action Fund As part of the implementation of the “Project to Support the improving the effectiveness of PAPN Management and Community Development Initiatives (PAAPID)” of the OBPE financed by IUCN through the BIOPAMA Action Fund.
