As part of the “program of research, information exchange, awareness-raising and conservation of biodiversity in Burundi” established under the Memorandum of Understanding between the OBPE and the Royal Institute of Natural Sciences of Belgium (IRSCnb), the monitoring of bamboo (Arundinaria alpina) at the level of the quadrants located in the three sectors of the Kibira National Park (PNK), namely Musigati, RSNB), the monitoring of bamboo (Arundinaria alpina) at the level of quadrants located in the three sectors of the Kibira National Park (PNK), namely Musigati, RSNB Wegura and Teza, was carried out in four stages during the year 2023.
