On 14 to 26 February, a survey of habitat dynamics was organized for the third quarter of fiscal year 2021-2022 in the national parks of Kibira, Rusizi and Ruvubu.

The objective of the descent was:

- Identify possible changes in habitats on the quadrants of the ecological trails pre-established in the Kibira, Rusizi and Ruvubu National Parks;

- Create herbariums of species newly developed on sites or unidentified for their conservation in the herbarium and for their subsequent determination;

- Identify the potential threats of these protected areas;

- Build a database on the evolution of ecosystem states over the years

 

In general, in all Parks the observations were easily made following the participation, intervention and contributions of all stakeholders.
