As part of the Biological Diversity Information Exchange Center, the OBPE, through the Program of Research, Information Exchange, Awareness and Conservation of Biodiversity in Burundi” under the funding of the IRSNB, has the mission of strengthening the Herbarium in accordance with International standards. The activities were organized in the Herbarium, including the labeling and encoding of the herbarium of the OBPE Herbarium, the classification of samples according to the families in alphabetical order and the verification of the entries of plant species.
