Equipped with books and binoculars, ABN members celebrated World Migratory Bird Day in Buterere on Saturday October 17, 2020. The event coincided with a birding walk that takes place once every end of the month. The celebration activities took place at the Buterere site at the level of the wastewater treatment basins. It is an ideal place for bird watching at a distance of some 8 km from the city center of the economic capital Bujumbura. World Migratory Bird Day is celebrated twice a year; in May and October each year. The journal highlights the satisfaction of the beneficiaries of the TNC and CRAG projects, which focus on landscape restoration actions and biodiversity conservation. j
