The Great Spine of Africa project, led by the American foundation Wilderness Project, offers Burundi a unique opportunity to better protect its water resources, in particular the southern source of the Nile. This initiative combines science and local collaboration to prevent floods, promote reforestation and strengthen sustainable development.
