During the #COP16, which is being held from 21/10 to 01/11/2024, a side event was organized by the Bio-Bridge Initiative (BBI) of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) to share experiences on coordinated projects on scientific, technical and technological cooperation and that were funded in 2023 by the CBD secretariat through this initiative.Four countries were chosen to share experiences, namely Australia, Burundi, and Colombia and Uganda. In Burundi, OBPE executed the “Project for the Valorization of Research Results by the Production of Black Soldier Fly Larvae for Fish and Poultry Farming.” The project manager Mr Longin Ndayikeza reported that this project was carried out in a framework of cooperation and collaboration.
