The National Institute for the Environment and Nature Conservation collaborates with the Ecole Normale Supérieure in scientific research and especially in the context of student end-of-study work.

The collaboration between INECN and ENS essentially consists in the supervision of final theses in several fields, in particular:

- Research on pollinating insects including Syrphidae;
- Research on pedofauna, in particular diplopods; - Research on fruit flies;
- Research on spiders in
Ruvubu National Park.
