Since 2012, the Burundian Office for Environmental Protection (OBPE), under the funding of the Royal Institute of Natural Sciences of Belgium (IrscNB), has undertaken studies in order to establish a system for monitoring the dynamics of the habitats of protected areas in Burundi. This document summarizes the results of one of these studies carried out in Kibira National Park (PNK) in the Rwegura sector.
