This document presents the effect sought by the 2005-2009 country programme through Environment projects and the reduction of disaster risks, mainly due to climate change, which is the strengthening of national capacities in terms of environmental management, of improving the sustainable food security of the population in the context of optimal exploitation of natural resources.
