On June 5 to 14, 2023, a survey of habitat dynamics was organized for the fourth fiscal year 2022—23 in the Kibira, Rusizi and Ruvubu National Parks. The objective of the descent was: To identify possible changes in the habitats on the quadrants of the ecological trails pre-established in the Kibira, Rusizi and Ruvubu National Parks; To create herbariums of newly developed species on the sites or not identified for their conservation in the herbarium and for their subsequent determination; To identify the potential threats of these protected areas; To constitute a database on the evolution of ecosystem states over the years
