On 14 to 26 February, a survey of habitat dynamics was organized for the third quarter of fiscal year 2021-2022 in the national parks of Kibira, Rusizi and Ruvubu. The objective of the descent was to identify possible changes in the habitats on the quadrants of the ecological trails pre-established in the Kibira, Rusizi and Ruvubu National Parks; to create herbariums of newly developed species on the sites or not identified for their conservation in the herbarium and for their subsequent determination; to identify the potential threats of these protected areas and to constitute a database on the evolution of ecosystem states over the years.
