On September 11 to 18, 2023, a survey of habitat dynamics was organized for the first quarter of fiscal year 2023-2024 in the three national parks of Burundi. The objective of the descent was to identify possible changes in the habitats on the quadrants of the pre-established transects in the Kibira, Rusizi and Ruvubu National Parks; to create herbariums of newly developed species on the sites or not identified for their conservation in the herbarium and for their subsequent determination; to identify the potential threats of these protected areas and to constitute a database on the evolution of ecosystem states over the years.
