As part of the Biological Diversity Information Exchange Center, the OBPE through the Program for Research, Information Exchange, Awareness and Conservation of Biodiversity in Burundi”, under the funding of the IRSNB, the global data encoding activity at the OBPE headquarters to improve the state of conservation of herbarium samples was carried out. The activity concerned the registration of samples and the granting of a new number to correct the disorder observed in the cabinets. Other information found on the label of the pack in which the sample is stored is also provided, such as the origin, the collector and the determinator, etc.
