The status, location and sizes of protected areas in southern Burundi justify the usefulness and the need for the use of geolocated data to have good cartographic coverage. It is in this context that geo-referenced maps of the nature reserves of Monge, Nkayamba, Rumonge, Kigwena and Vyanda were produced.
