This study is an analysis of the vulnerability of mountain rain forests to future climate change according to projections considered up to 2050. This analysis was done based on the climatic conditions that have existed over geological time, the altitudinal conditions that influence the vegetation layering system and the regressive and progressive evolutionary system of mountain forest vegetation.
The study also identified priority activities to mitigate the harmful effects of climate change on mountain forests in Burundi.
