The National Center for the Development of Aquaculture and Artisanal Fisheries (CNDAPA) has the following missions:

Ensure the national management of the development of fish farming,

Develop the national aquaculture development policy and strategy,

Propose a fish farming development plan,

Propose and identify areas with high potential in fish farming,

Establish statistical and socio-economic analyses of fish farming,

Ensure, coordinate and popularize fish farming techniques and supervise fish farmers in collaboration with the technical services concerned,

Propose a program of research and experimentation in the field of fish farming,

Suggest ideas for fish farming development projects
