Many people do not know what is happening in terms of climate change and if nothing is done, Burundi will be affected by serious disasters. There is a correlation between poorly controlled population growth and environmental degradation. In the years to come, if effective measures are not taken, there is a risk of not having forests in Burundi. The disappearance of soils due to erosion and soil infertility is likely to cause a very serious famine throughout the country. Thus, the day when the last river or lake is polluted, the day when agriculture is impractical because of the loss of our soil, the day when the last fish is caught, we will understand that money has no value.
