On December 27, 2019, in the meeting room of the Biodiversity Research Department of the Burundian Office for Environmental Protection (OBPE) located in Jabe, a meeting of the Interinstitutional Focal Points of CHM-Burundi was organized as part of the “CHM-OBPE” Project of the “CHM-OBPE” Project of the Program for Research, Information Exchange, Awareness and Conservation of Biodiversity in Burundi. During this meeting, the focal points, under the assistance of the Programme Manager and the CHM Consultant, presented the difficulties encountered in using and transferring information from the ToolKit Portal to Bioland in order to disseminate biodiversity information

After these difficulties were overcome, the Programme Manager and one of the focal points of the OBPE, further clarified the methods of using this tool and the errors to avoid, etc. Subsequently, the focal points transferred the information from the ToolKit Portal to Bioland.

Thus, each information transferred was submitted to an evaluation before being validated by the manager of the program for research, information exchange, awareness-raising and biodiversity conservation in Burundi and the CHM assistant. Finally, the program manager published the validated information on Bioland.

To end this meeting, the manager of the research, information exchange, information exchange, awareness-raising and biodiversity conservation program in Burundi thanked the participants while reminding them to continue the transfer of as much information as possible which should end with the month of January 2020.
