On May 13, 2020, in the room of the Dolce Vita Hotel, a meeting of the Interinstitutional Focal Points of the CHM-Burundi was organized as part of the “CHM-OBPE” Project of the Program for Research, Information Exchange, Information Exchange, Awareness-raising and Conservation of Biodiversity in Burundi. During this meeting, the focal points, under the assistance of the Programme Manager and the CHM Consultant, transferred information from the ToolKit Portal to Bioland to disseminate biodiversity information from the various institutions of origin.

At the beginning of this session, the Program Manager and one of the focal points of the OBPE, noted to the various focal points the errors committed during the transfer of information in the period after the last meeting held in February of the year 2020. These errors were corrected before continuing with the transfer.

Then, the focal points transferred information from the various institutions. Each information transferred should be submitted to an evaluation before its validation by the manager of the program of research, information exchange, awareness-raising and conservation of biodiversity in Burundi before it is validated by the manager of the program of research, information exchange, awareness-raising and conservation of biodiversity in Burundi. Finally, the program manager published the validated information on Bioland.

To end this meeting, the person in charge of the research, information exchange, information exchange, awareness-raising and biodiversity conservation program in Burundi thanked the participants, who had given their heart and soul during this session to post as much information as possible. He also reminded them to continue to transfer as much information as possible so that at the end of 2020 everything could be transferred to Bioland.
